SAN JOSE, Calif. – 02/05/2009 - Wyse Technology, the global leader in thin computing, today announced its day-one support across all Wyse product lines for Citrix® XenDesktop™ 3,  the newest release of its market-leading client virtualization solution.

Wyse's entire line of clients, including the Wyse Viance™ family of appliances plug and play with XenDesktop 3, providing organizations with the ideal means to capitalize on the benefits of thin computing to virtual clients, including increased user experience, enhanced security, simpler management, lower TCO, as well as a significantly lower environmental impact.

XenDesktop 3 incorporates several of the new Citrix HDX™ technologies giving virtual client users a richer “high-definition” experience with enhanced support for multimedia, audio and video.  It also includes broad support for smart card security authentication systems which are widely adopted throughout government, financial services and healthcare organizations. The new version of XenDesktop continues to lower the barriers of VDI adoption by driving down costs through centralized management and delivery.
